Layout of the Aqua Complex ground floor, 300 Marine Parade, LabradorA schematic of the Aqua Complex ground floor, not to scale. Marine Parade runs along the bottom with the Broadwater beyond it, Imperial Parade down the right-hand side, and the driveway to the free underground parking along the back, entered from Imperial Parade — it is the apartment complex's main driveway, and the parking is below ground. Gelato Wonderland is Shop 14, on the Imperial Parade side, with its door opening onto that side. Going up from the Marine Parade corner: Cafe Gold Coast, Rev It Up Pizza, Gelato Wonderland, Butter Bodega and Snatched Clinic. Yes, there's free parking

There's free underground parking at the Aqua Complex. Enter via Imperial Parade, park downstairs and come up to Gelato Wonderland. Our door is on the Imperial Parade side, between Butter Bodega and Rev It Up Pizza. First time at the complex? Here's where to find us at Aqua, and what else is there.

Somewhere to sit

There are tables directly outside our door, and they're ours — so there's no wandering off to find a seat with a gelato going soft in your hand. They're under cover, so a passing shower doesn't end the visit.

The spot earns its keep in both directions through the year: shade across the summer afternoon, and a touch of low sun on a winter one. When the wind is up, we're typically tucked out of the worst of it.

Make a little more of it

One of our favourite things about being in Labrador is that a gelato run can easily become part of something bigger.

Take your gelato for a walk along the Broadwater. Let the kids burn off some energy. Watch the water. Catch the afternoon light. Or make us the dessert stop after dinner nearby.

Sometimes the quieter side of the Gold Coast is exactly what you want.

While you're here

The Broadwater foreshore, Len Fox Park and the surrounding Labrador waterfront are all nearby, with other food options around the Aqua Complex and along Marine Parade. The foreshore walk and its parks starts just across the road, and if you're arriving on the water, our page for boaties covers finding us from the foreshore.
